New Easel Card

I made this card for a friends birthday. It was also a 2A card, but when you add a lot of embellishments you will have to make a fatter envelope and add more postage. I cut my card stock to 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″, then folded to 5 1/2″ X 4 1/4″, scoring the front of the card at 2″ from the edge, this will be for you easel. Cut another piece at 5 1/2″ X 4 1/4″ from plain card stock and 2 more from patterned paper. I used a paper studio paper pad of patterned craft paper. Roll the corner of the 2 patterned papers, I use a dot of glue to hole the roles. I cut out butterflies form the paper, added lace, beads and flowers from Michaels. I almost forgot the stamp is from Close to My Heart. My friend said it was the most beautiful card she had ever received. That made me smile.
